IMI Security Service is Authorized Training Center for training of staff with responsibility for maritime security by Italian Cost Guard, with authorization n. 1164/2010. The IMI organizes, with their instructors, professional courses approved by Italian Cost Guard and valid within IMO, for:

Familiarization courses and / or education for staff with responsibility for maritime security.

IMI Security Service is establishing a basic course on terrorism (CPC) for provincial and local police, with the aim of providing the training to recognize attempts to attack and manage the early stages of the emergency.

IMI Security Service, pursuant to Ministerial Decree N. 154 of 09/15/2009 provides training courses for security guards needed to exercise subsidiary security activity in the  ports.
